Our client is seeing a proactive and engaging HR Business Partner, ideally someone with extensive ER and recruitment experience looking to advance their career. The ideal candidate will be passionate, forward-thinking, and possess a continuous improvement mindset, ready to drive HR initiatives.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop strong commercial relationships with business leaders to effectively manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Provide performance management guidance and support to management, including guidance on restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identify and address training needs within the sales and commercial teams, ensuring all training adds value.
  • Support recruitment efforts by proactively sourcing candidates, reducing time to hire, and ensuring a seamless and engaging induction process.
  • Drive People initiatives such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, sustainability, wellbeing, and development through strong relationships with business leaders.
  • Conduct exit and stay interviews to gather data and insights on retention trends.
  • Support line management in maintaining a supportive culture that puts ‘people first’.
  • Assist with HR projects and administration as needed.

The ideal candidate:

  • CIPD qualification, preferably level 5 or above.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the business.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, influencing, and negotiating.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR processes, employment law fundamentals, and recent developments.
  • 3+ years experience in overseeing high level ER; disciplinaries, grievance, performance management, and appeal procedures
  • 3+ years experience in dealing with challenging individuals and situations
  • 3+ years experience in end-to-end recruitment 
  • Patient, calm, firm but fair, and a natural influencer who is down to earth, open, energetic, and enthusiastic.
