Their unique Development Partner service, led by experienced professionals from the home building and commercial development sectors, sets them apart in the industry.Your new roleThe purpose of the position is to deliver the energy related element of various design projects, as well as undertaking a variety of energy tasks / projects. Proven experience in energy modelling, producing EPC's and energy strategies is required, as is an interest in climate change, energy management and sustainability. What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in Energy modelling and low/ zero carbon energy concepts and strategies.
- Experience in using TAS/ IES or other energy modelling software
- LCEA EPC Level 5 Certification
- Low Carbon Consultant Certification
- Experience of overheating (Part O/ TM52/TM59) calculations and reporting.
- Experience of TM54 Reports and reporting for BREEAM criteria.
- Recognised academic qualifications, Degree, HND, HNC, etc.
- Membership of appropriate professional body (IMechE, CIBSE etc.)
- A client focussed attitude
- A practical understanding of heat and power generating technologies
- Working experience of passive or low energy design solutions
- Familiarity of producing energy strategies and energy statements for planning and 'As Built' purposes
- Ability to produce performance and emission calculations
- Familiarity with commercial contracting and purchasing procedures
- Financial modelling of energy production processes
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit useful but not essential and Microsoft Office 365
