Astute's Renewables team is proudly partnering with a leading EPC company in the utility-scale Solar and BESS market, that are committed to professional development and sustainability. Together we are looking for a Senior SCADA Engineer to provide expertise and technical management to Solar and BESS projects.
The Senior SCADA Engineer role comes with a salary up to 70,000, KPI driven bonus, company benefits and remote working.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Hed of Engineering, you will:
- Provide engineering and technical expertise to resolve project challenges and support design decisions.
- Coordinate the SCADA engineering department across sales and execution projects.
- Liaise between local and international SCADA teams, ensuring alignment with the German team on processes and templates.
- Support sales and purchasing with technical descriptions, datasheet validation, and generation of BOM.
- Assist the construction department during project realisation phase.
- Act as an initial point of escalation and ensure that issues are identified early and effectively.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, ideally solar, BESS or Power.
- Several years' experience in project management.
- Completed technical studies in electrical engineering field, or computer science, or IT specialist.
- Extensive professional experience in electrical engineering or information technology.
Personal skills
The Senior SCADA Engineer role would suit someone who is:
- Experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Leadership experience would be beneficial.
- Modbus/ EPlan experience would be beneficial.
