Henderson Scott Finance and Accounting have partnered with a specialised consultancy and market leader in financial and operational planning to recruit a Principle Consultant that will specialise in implementation of Workday (WAP) and IBM (TM1). This role requires comprehensive experience in Workday (WAP) and on the job knowledge in implementation and transformation.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
- Manage implementation of powerful cloud-based ERP platform - Workday (WAP) or IBM (TM1)
- As an expert planning consultant in the project management team, you will be involved in managing all aspects of project life cycle, from working day-to-day with our clients building best-in-class planning models through to helping sustain ongoing business relationships.
- Building high quality relationships with clients to ensure risk is managed and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Manage expectations of client service delivery.
- Deliver high-quality solutions within expected time frames and budget.
- Having the ability to own the delivery of the business requirements - with a full and thorough understanding of the expected benefits to the client.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement and structured decision-making - don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
- Ability to quickly interpret client needs and recommend the appropriate solution.
The Candidate
The successful candidate have an accountancy (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or systems background.
- Commercial awareness and understanding client's success
- There is great opportunity to work independently, managing your own workload day to day. As such, you should have displayed a level of autonomy in your previous employment to be fully suited to this role.
- Attention to detail
- Good understanding of modern IT solutions, you will be the link between IT and Finance.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and Strong numerical and analytical skills (finance)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at senior stakeholder level - Personable and engaging.
- Good problem-solving abilities, being able to use your initiative to complete tasks, working with people and solving problems.
- Experience building financial planning solutions (profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow)
- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
Salary and Benefits
- £75,000 - £90,000 DOE
- £12,000 car allowance
- 10% company bonus (10% of salary) - paid out every year for the last 15 years
- 25 days holiday plus BH
