Your role as an HGV class 1 driver

Sequencing working: moving trailers between sites, easy workload
Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

A minimum of 12 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence
Must have held an HGV class 1 licence for at least 12 months
Good attention to detail: ensuring safe movement of trailers
A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January

Pay & benefits

16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement
Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period
Free parking at the depot
Light delivery schedule with site-to-site sequencing and trunking
10 - 12 hour shifts typically
Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours
