Your role as an HGV class 1 driver
- Sequencing working: moving trailers between sites, easy workload
- Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
- Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
- Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence
- Must have held an HGV class 1 licence for at least 12 months
- Good attention to detail: ensuring safe movement of trailers
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January
Pay & benefits
- 16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement
- Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period
- Free parking at the depot
- Light delivery schedule with site-to-site sequencing and trunking
- 10 - 12 hour shifts typically
- Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours
