Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

This well-established company in Birmingham is seeking a Stores Co-Ordinator due to increased business demand. They are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who is eager to learn, as successful candidates may be taken on permanently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement Maintenance Stores processes using the site CMMS (Shire Systems – Pirana).
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Planner, Suppliers, Contractors, and the Admin Team to ensure spare parts are available for both planned and reactive maintenance work.
  • Oversee and manage service contracts for non-production related site services and building maintenance.
  • Supervise contractors to complete minor works required for maintaining the fabric of the building.
  • Design, implement, and manage stores processes, including layout and storage requirements.
  • Ensure all parts are correctly identified and located in the stores to maintain readiness for active use within the factory.
  • Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports related to maintenance spend and spare parts usage.
  • Optimise stock holding based on usage trends and supplier lead times.
  • Ensure maintenance budget tracking and reporting is in line with targets.
  • Ensure all outside refurbishment of items is managed appropriately.
  • Support maintenance planning function and assist with the overall smooth running of the maintenance department.

The Successful Candidate Requires:

  • Proven experience in Manufacturing Maintenance Stores.
  • Strong understanding of ERP & CMMS software (preferably JDE & Pirana).
  • Knowledge of industrial spare parts management.
  • Experience in FLT operation is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage maintenance processes effectively.
