Water Treatment Service Technician

We are proud to represent a leading multidisciplinary environmental service specialist who offers various services, including risk management and compliance, including training, auditing, reporting, inspection, testing, cleaning, and maintenance of both Air and Water systems. They are looking to appoint a reliable Water Treatment Service Technician to join their experienced team.

Requirements for applicants:

  • Previous experience in a Water Hygiene Technician role.
  • The ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity.
  • Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, Water Regulations).
  • Record and provide accurate documentation that may include recommendations for all works undertaken.
  • Carry out analysis and chemical treatment of closed water systems.
  • Travel and cover weekend/night working when required.
  • A full driver's license.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Flushing
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Shower head cleaning & disinfection
  • Tank & hot water storage vessel inspections
  • Collection of water samples
  • Closed system testing & dosing
  • TMV servicing
  • Tank cleaning & disinfection
  • Disinfection (via injection)
