Location: Birmingham/West Midlands - on site/in office 5 days per week.

An opportunity an Environmental Advisor to join a high-profile infrastructure project in the West Midlands. This role will focus on environmental and sustainability compliance within a large-scale light rail regeneration programme. The successful candidate will work across multiple sites, ensuring best practices in environmental management, risk assessment, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years construction experience. Rail/light rail preferred.
  • Relevant degree.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments, compliance, and sustainability in construction.
  • Experience of conducting workshops on lessons learned.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider project team.
  • IEMA practitioner/CEEQUAL assessor.
  • BREEAM assessor beneficial.
  • Auditor qualification (ISO (phone number removed)).
  • NEBOSH beneficial.
  • Full driver's license and vehicle for commuting to sites.

This will be a one to two stage interview process conducted on Teams. My client is eager to interview immediately.

Successful on boarding will be dependent on successful completion of medical, reference checks, and BPSS security clearance.
