Are you passionate about shaping a sustainable future? Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a UK leading Consultancy in their search for a talented and ambitious Environmental Consultant!

As part of a vibrant network of experts, you will join a multidisciplinary Planning and Environmental Consenting team based in Birmingham, where you'll work on impactful projects across renewable energy, transportation, water infrastructure, and coastal defence.

Duties of the Role:

  • Support environmental assessments, including EIA and options appraisals, across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Contribute to delivering high environmental performance and optimal outcomes.
  • Produce clear, well-written reports and ensure quality work on time and within budget.
  • Assist senior management in project delivery and bid preparation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree or Master's in environmental or related field.
  • Working towards chartership with a relevant professional body.
  • Experience in environmental management and assessment.
  • Strong writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and adaptable.
