  • Gain exposure to all elements of the manufacturing process, equipment and infrastructure alongside experience in risk assessment and implementation of controls.
  • Learn the Environmental Management System and uphold the requirements of the site environmental permit and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Build an understanding of legislation and industry best-practice, providing essential guidance and recommendations.
  • Support managers with the implementation of new and existing procedures to achieve safe working conditions, compliance obligations and an effective health and safety culture.
  • Design engineering solutions to improve safety measures and environmental controls.
  • Develop new and existing systems for the coordination of activities, data collection and evaluation of performance.
  • Compile reports and effectively communicate with all employees, stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Schedule formal audits and coordinate the timely action of findings.
Health, Safety & Environmental Management Graduate Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Degree qualified – engineering discipline desirable
  • Experience in interpreting technical detail and design
  • Ability to effectively communicate, formally and informally.
  • Highly observant with a respect for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm to work through challenges and ability to prioritise demands.
  • Capable of working successfully in multi-disciplinary environments.
