Your new companyA UK wide, industry leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy. They offer a wide range of services, including architecture, building services, planning, civil engineering, environmental consulting and sustainability consulting.As a business, they provide tailored consultancy services on the environmental issues involved with varying construction projects. They are involved with a large number of high profile projects across residential, education and more unique sectors, including motorsport facilities and entertainment.Your new roleYou will join the Geo-Environmental team in either their Solihull or Birmingham Central offices, you will be a part of some of the UK's most interesting earthwork projects.This is an excellent opportunity for career progression as you will join the team at the front end of their growth curve!Main duties could include:

  • Work on Phase 1 and 2 reporting for Goe-Environmental and Geotechnical ground investigations
  • Site monitoring including groundwater, surface water and ground-gas
  • Soil and rock logging / sampling
  • Reporting and validation of earthworks
  • Project management and organisation to ensure timely delivery

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Geology or relevant environmental field
  • Proven experience in Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical consultancy in the UK
  • Geotechnical knowledge - soils and rock logging
  • Good knowledge of relevant UK environmental legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
