They now require a Geoenvironmental Senior Engineer to work on a variety of interesting development projects (residential and commercial).
This organisation also takes its environmental impact seriously and looks to reduce its carbon footprint in a variety of ways.
In this role as Geoenvironmental Senior Engineer you will:
- Prepare proposals including ground investigation design
- Organise and supervise ground investigation activities
- Liaise with clients regarding access, planning consent, site layout and SI programme
- Be responsible for the production of interpretative geoenvironmental reports
To be successful in the role of Geoenvironmental Senior Engineer you will need to have:
- Solid experience of supervising ground investigation works
- A degree in Geology, Geography or Environmental Science
- Basic report writing skills – training given in this area
- Familiarity with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- An ability to draft SI drawings in AutoCAD (desirable but not essential)
- Good verbal communication skills - working with drillers, site workers, laboratories, other staff, clients etc
- Good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
