The ideal Assistant Manager will demonstrate the ability to: * Help develop operations strategy focused on both financial gain, operational efficiencies and improved customer satisfaction that supports business growth targets and the business plan. * Develop an ongoing strategy and annual business plan in conjunction with the General Manager * Events management - organise and manage exciting and engaging social events * Support the Sales and Marketing Teams during events and other initiatives * Maintain Health and Safety compliance, audits and reports * Manage SLA delivery to ensure these are met and exceeded * Building Maintenance and Facilities Management liaising with the facilities team * Positively contribute to the development, review, and management of company wide policies and procedures* Coach, lead and focus your team to deliver a first class experience and serviceWhat we look for in the ideal Assistant Manager: * Minimum 3 years' management experience in a Retail, Hospitality, Leisure or Events background * A passionate can-do attitude * A strong and natural from-the-front leader * A leader who is analytical, accountable and can work at a fast pace * Passionate in delivering five star service and experience * Excellent planning and organisational skills * Be a self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic individual The hours for the role are: 5/7 so some weekend work required however predominantly Mon-FriYou may work the occasional Saturday to attend and run events, but you'll be glad to know you can take your day back in lieu.
