Project Manager - AV Events Production

£45,000 - £65,000

Location - South of Birmingham

Monday - Friday with minimal weekend work

Full time permanent role

Due to a period of rapid growth, our client is seeking an experienced AV Event Production Project Manager to join their team. Your specialism could be Video, Audio or Lighting - all disciplines will be considered of value within the business. You will be responsible for delivering first class AV and scenic solutions for Live, Virtual and onsite Hybrid Events and we therefore would like technical applicants who may have started their career as an event technician to apply as you will have a greater understanding of the production side of the role.

Duties:

  • Working in close partnership with agency and corporate clients
  • Act as the main point of contact for several clients and events simultaneously
  • Maintain key client relationships
  • Taking and understanding client briefs and analysing requirements for both Live and Virtual work
  • Creatively supporting the design of events and clients
  • Preparing technical and production specifications and submitting cost effective client proposals, including, but not limited to CAD plans, detailed technical specifications, schematics and health and safety documentation
  • Attend site inspections for upcoming events collating detailed venue and event information
  • Securing freelance crew and other third-party services including, but not limited to scenic, transport and specialist suppliers
  • Responsible for event project budget creation, management and reconciliation
  • On site at event - management of the entire process including onsite crew and other bought in services/ suppliers, safety management
  • Post event - detailed feedback and analysis of event with clients.
