Role Overview:
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the workshop, managing a team, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the automotive workshop.
- Supervise, motivate, and support a team of technicians and staff to ensure quality service and efficient operations.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards.
- Handle customer queries, providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering parts and materials as needed.
- Assist in managing budgets, schedules, and ensuring KPIs are met.
- Support the management team with staff training, performance reviews, and team development.
- Contribute to creating a positive and productive working environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop or related field, with a passion for the industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in the automotive sector and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within an automotive environment is preferred.
