A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced PA (Personal Assistant) in the Birmingham city centre area. My client is a respected business owner with multiple successful, long established businesses within the property sector. Due to growth and workload demand my client is looking for a chief organiser to provide support with the day to day requirements of a busy Director.

Personal Assistant duties and responsibilities

  • Handling and responding to all correspondence including phone calls, emails and letters
  • Scheduling appointments and organising diary entries
  • Setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important tasks
  • Making travel and hotel arrangements
  • Planning conferences, meetings and events
  • Taking notes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participants
  • Liaising with other members of staff and external parties such as clients and suppliers.
  • Preparing reports as required
  • Supporting the Director with research or planning of upcoming projects
  • Provide some weekly support to the accounts department regarding invoice processing and reconciliations.

Personal Assistant Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and people management skills
  • Strong command of the English language both written and verbally
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident and able to offer opinion and suggestions where appropriate
  • Able to uphold discretion regarding business sensitive matters as required
  • Able to handle a varied workload
