Job Title: Production Operative
Job Type: Temporary - ongoing
Pay rate: £13.99/hour - £17.85/hour
Location: Bournville, B30 2HP
Shifts: 12 hours (Days - 7am-7pm & Nights: 7pm-7am)
Opportunity to work upto 60 hours/week based on the shifts available
Start Date: ASAP

Client overview: Our client is an international market-leading food manufacturer. They pride themselves on having a passion for great food, world-class business processes, and exceptionally talented people working at the Bournville facility.
Job overview: Undertake operational tasks as required, running equipment safely and in accordance with instructions and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the packing of all food products (chocolates)
- Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties & any additional duties as instructed by the Team lead/supervisor
- Adhering to all the health & safety policies by always wearing a PPE jacket.
- Making sure the products/packaging meets the required standards
- Running quality checks on the products to make sure there are no defects/damages and report to the supervisor if any
- Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistentlyoperate to high standards of food quality and food safety
- Working to business KPIs/targets
Qualifications:
- Food Safety Level 2 accreditation trained
- Previous experience in food production is an advantage
- Must be flexible with both shifts
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels.
