Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for our Edgbaston based client who are seeking an experienced Receptionist Team Leader to manage their very busy front desk.

Hours of work will be eight hour shifts between the hours of 6am and 10pm Monday to Sunday. Please only apply if you have flexbility with hours.

Duties and task will include:

  • Oversee the day to day operations of our Welcome Desk, including handling enquires, bookings, merchandise sales and special requests
  • Train and supervise the Welcome Desk Team to deliver consistently exceptional service, ensuring a thorough knowledge of the Club and proactively addressing any issues that arise
  • Lead and manage the Welcome Desk Team, offering support, training, and motivation to ensure high performance
  • Maximise the recruitment of new members by ensuring a welcoming, friendly response to new enquiries and delivering tours as necessary
  • Ensure all new members are warmly welcomed and seamlessly integrated into the company, following our bespoke member journey
  • Organise an efficient rota for the Welcome Desk Team, managing sickness and absence, and being the first point of call when issues arise

  • An excellent team player, offering support to other departments as needed to maintain high service levels
  • Passionate about racquets sports, health and fitness
  • Experience in leading or supporting a team. This role is ideal for someone looking to take their first steps into management and develop their leadership skills
