An opportunity to be a Commercial Finance Analyst for a service business based in Birmingham. It’s a large-scale business which operates nationally and has an incredible turnover. This role will provide plenty of opportunities for improvement.
Main Duties:
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, your main duties include:
- Collaborating with senior management and directors across departments
- Assisting with modelling, pricing, costing, and profitability analysis
- Producing weekly and monthly financial reports, and analysing their variances to budgets
- Analysing data from finance systems to track spending and prepare accruals
- Identifying areas to improve processes and reporting
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid and based in Birmingham, with two days in the office and the rest at home. The company operates from a modern office with a strong Finance Team.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualification
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- Experience working in finance departments
- Good communication skills, dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Good analytical skills
