We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established multi-site service organisation based in Sutton Coldfield, who are seeking a talented Finance Analyst for a fixed-term contract of 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity to perform detailed financial analysis, develop and deliver insightful reporting, and build strong relationships as a true business partner across various departments. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with various departments.
  • Support the budget holders in understanding their budgets and variances.
  • Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc management reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Support the analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast, providing insightful commentary.
  • Assist in the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
  • Contribute to the improvement of data collection and reporting processes.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Support the provision of financial information and insights to non-finance stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
