Overview

Mitchell Adam are proud to announce the continuation of their collaboration with an established multi-national organisation in South Birmingham. This organisation has asked Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for a talented and experienced Finance Analyst. This role is a new position which has been created and there is a genuine scope for this role to develop into a Finance Business Partner position with further development and experience. This organisation has a fantastic culture which they have nurtured over a number of years and they always look to ensure the employee experience is as engaging as possible.

As a Finance Analyst, you will be an integral part of the budgeting and forecasting process of your department. You will be involved in every level of this process and your thoughts and insight will be valued and taken into consideration in regard to decision making. You will also be producing comprehensive reports for senior management and providing commentary on the financial health on various departments and subsidiaries of the business. Alongside this, you will occasionally be involved with the monthly management account production process where you will be analysing the P&L and conducting detailed variance analysis. This business provides a fantastic study support package which will help you achieve your qualified status, alongside providing the chance to work in a hybrid flexible working style.

Skills Required

To have a background in accounting, and to have experience posting journals, completing reconciliation's and to have experience in budgeting and forecasting. To be confident when manipulating large data sets and using complex formulae in Microsoft Excel. To be currently studying for your ACCA or CIMA Qualification, or to already be part-way through your studies in your chosen qualification. To be an outgoing and confident individual, as this position involves a wide variety of interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
