We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Analyst to join my client's dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. This role involves analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic financial planning within a manufacturing environment.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial data specific to manufacturing operations to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial models tailored to manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis and develop actionable recommendations for financial performance improvements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with a focus on manufacturing cost management.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including inventory valuation and cost analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA
  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
