A local Midlands council is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. This role is crucial for overseeing the accounts payable function and contributing to a significant Oracle project within the council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with council policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to the accounts payable team
- Monitor and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
