A local Midlands council is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. This role is crucial for overseeing the accounts payable function and contributing to a significant Oracle project within the council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with council policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to the accounts payable team
  • Monitor and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
