This position offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive exposure across various areas within Corporate Tax Compliance. The firm specialises in owner-managed businesses, large corporates, and charities. In this role, you will work closely with the audit team while also mentoring and developing junior tax team members. Although the primary focus of this position is compliance, you will occasionally have the opportunity to engage in advisory work on an ad-hoc basis in line with business needs.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with owner-managed businesses and/or large corporates, previous exposure to compliance, and hold either an ACA or CTA qualification.
The important work you will be doing:
- Managing the corporate tax compliance process for a portfolio of OMB and/or large corporate clients.
- Liaising with the audit team on a regular basis to manage deadlines and provide tax provisions for statutory accounts.
- Managing junior team members to deliver work to agreed timescales and acting as the primary point of contact for the client
- Providing training and feedback to junior team members to assist in their development as tax advisors.
- Direct line management responsibility for some junior team members.
- Deal with correspondences from HMRC and liaise with representatives as and when appropriate.
- Work with senior members of the tax team to identify additional opportunities on your portfolio of clients, such as R&D and transfer pricing.
- Support the advisory team on an ad-hoc basis
The skills and experience?you will bring:
- ACA or CTA qualified
- A?minimum of 3 years' experience in Corporate Tax
- Ideal experience with a mixture of owner-managed businesses and/or large corporates
- Strong Excel skills?
