Overview

Mitchell Adam are excited to announce their new collaboration with an established organisation in Birmingham City Centre. This organisation are globally recognised due to their fantastic product and service and have outlined their intentions to continue to expand their finance function by bringing on a talented and ambitious Assistant Finance Business Partner. The organisation are looking for an active studier and provide an impressive study support package alongside the option to work in a hybrid working style. This role has a genuine opportunity to progress into a Finance Business Partner within 12 months and is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious ACCA or CIMA studier.

This multi-national organisation are based in the tremendous Jewellery Quarter, and subsequently are a short walk from Snowhill Station. The team is very social and love to celebrate their successes with evenings in the City Centre and events across the West Midlands. The business boasts some terrific benefits and it is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to take on new challenges and brush shoulders with board members and Heads of departments. As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be leaning on your communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of seniority. This role does involve some management account responsibilities such as budgeting and forecasting alongside producing reports based off the finances of the branch.

Skills Required
  • To have experience with the production of management accounts. This is a fundamental part of this position and it is important to be confident when working with the P&L and to have exposure with budgeting and forecasting.
  • To be confident and charismatic. This position will see you involved with financial meetings with senior stakeholders. It is important to be able to represent yourself and the organisation properly.
  • To be currently studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have passed a number of these examinations.
  • To be ambitious and driven, this role provides some fantastic opportunities for an individual who is able to take on new responsibilities and excel in their role.
