Assistant Head of Finance

Carter Rolan Group are delighted to be working with manufacturing company based in the Birmingham area in their search for anAssistant Head of Finance.

Some of the key responsibilities:

• Lead an annual budgeting.
• Provide accurate forecasting of financial performance vs budget and prior year.
• Help develop and implement the supply chain strategy.
• Guide and support decision making through the provision of accurate financial reporting and data.
• Analyse and interpret financial data and reporting in order to add value and identify risks and opportunities.
• Build and develop a high performing finance team with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Maintain the compliance to and auditing of financial controls and processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate with extensive commercial and manufacturing experience. Excellent communication skill.
• Costing experience.
• Needs to be hands on and enjoys getting involved.
