Job Purpose
- Manage your own client portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management
- Track job progress and billing targets to identify areas of improvement
- Monitor deadlines and work closely with senior team to ensure budgets and clients' expectations are always met
- Preparation of accounts, returns, and income and corporation tax computations
- Oversee junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
- Use IT software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Support business development by scoping new service lines for your portfolio
- Present statutory year-end accounts and tax returns to clients and Directors
- Work closely across departments to ensure clients are benefiting from an all-encompassing service
- Oversee ad hoc client projects, including cashflow forecasts valuations and advice on acquisitions
- Deliver training and review processes to implement more efficient ways of service delivery
- Keep up-to-date on CPD requirements and regulation changes
- Set an example as a hands-on and supportive Manager

The Successful Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by relevant experience also considered
- Good working knowledge of accounting software including Excel
- Solid project management and multitasking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff
- A can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively
- Confident working alongside senior management
- Motivated and able to inspire others
