Commercial Manager - Pensions Administration

As the Commercial Manager for Pensions Administration at Isio, you will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy and plans for our pension administration services. This senior position involves analysing commercial performance across a variety of functions and identifying actions and plans to improve performance by maximising revenue, and implementing cost control measures.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for pension administration services, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Manage and track revenue and cost flows across the pensions administration business to verify contract management.
  • Oversee financial performance and renewals tracks to budget and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the pensions administration team to ensure quality service delivery within budget constraints.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to business plans.
  • Take ownership of risk management processes to reduce commercial risk exposure.
  • Contribute to business development activities and strategic projects.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable proven experience in a commercial and financial analysis role within the pensions or financial services sector.
  • Solid understanding of pensions administration and UK pensions legislation and regulations.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Robust commercial acumen coupled with strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant accountancy qualification

Where is the role?Our ideal applicant would work alongside our existing administration team in either Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Croydon or Reading. However, we can offer suitable applicants the opportunity to work from our other Isio offices.

We work on a hybrid basis, offering the opportunity for colleagues to split their working time between working in the office and at home.
