Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Lawes is excited to be working with a global leading broker, to help them grow their team. As an experienced Corporate Commercial Account Handler this role is key in delivering risk solutions to businesses across various sectors within the UK, managing client relationships, and helping to develop tailored service plans for clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the client management team to gain insight into clients' business and insurance requirements.
  • Identify areas for enhancing client risk management and optimizing insurance program structures.
  • Negotiate renewal terms, mid-term adjustments, and coverage extensions with both clients and insurers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and client-specific internal policies.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven background in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial risks
  • Corporate Commercial experience is a key requirement
  • Strong commercial understanding of business and market dynamics
  • Experience with global insurance placements
  • Familiarity with FCA Principles and Procedures

DAY-TO-DAY

  • You will engage in daily client interactions, negotiating renewal terms, and managing communications with insurers.
  • Responsible for preparing marketing presentations, renewal reports, and responding to client queries and requests for alterations

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A client-focused, consultative approach
  • Strong understanding of FCA Principles and Procedures
