Are you an experienced Corporate Account Handler looking for an exciting new challenge? Our highly established client, a global leader, is seeking a dynamic professional to join their Charity & Healthcare Division in Birmingham. This fantastic opportunity would suit someone who is highly technical and has gained a broad understanding and expertise in commercial insurance.

You will be working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. 

Handling a premium level up to £250k and some of the larger accounts, you will be working in a supportive and collaborative team of 11 providing outstanding service to a diverse range of clients in the Charity, Not-for-Profit, and Care Sectors.

Your responsibilities include-

  • Taking ownership of and looking after a portfolio of clients.
  • Creating documents, and tending to mid-term adjustments and renewals.
  • Obtain renewal terms for customers. Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes.
  • Liaise with clients and insurers, negotiating premiums and terms.

In addition to the proven experience in Commercial insurance products, you will have-

  • With strong technical skills and ideally 3-5 years of commercial experience ideally in a broker environment, we will be open to considering commercial underwriters willing to transition into broking.
  • Experience handling mid-level to large premiums.
  • Experience in Acturis (desirable, however, training can be provided)
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills.
