Overview:Our client, a prestigious top 25 accountancy firm based in Birmingham, is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Corporate Tax Associate Director/Senior Manager.

This strategic role focuses on providing exceptional corporate tax services, managing a diverse client portfolio, and overseeing a talented team of tax professionals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping tax strategies and delivering value to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee corporate tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring timely and accurate filings for a diverse range of clients based in Birmingham and beyond.
  • Develop and implement innovative tax strategies, focusing on risk management and maximizing client benefits.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of tax specialists, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Proven tax advisory experience in technical matters.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored tax advice.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry trends to position clients proactively.
  • Excellent corporate tax compliance experience in preparing and reviewing tax computations.
  • Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Significant experience in corporate tax, with a track record in a managerial or leadership role at a recognized accountancy firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective client engagement.
