Are you a strategic and people-focused leader looking for your next challenge in credit management? We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join our dynamic team in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and ensuring best-in-class client service delivery.

About the Role

As Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the company's credit management and order-to-cash functions, with key accountability for improving processes and ensuring smooth operational delivery. Working closely with the CFO, you'll also collaborate with the wider finance team, including accounts payable, to deliver consistent, efficient results.

Your leadership and ability to manage complexity within billing and operational finance will be crucial as you focus on continuous improvement and streamlining finance processes, while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer service.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and managing the credit management team to meet key objectives and deliver high performance.
  • Owning the company's credit management and order-to-cash processes.
  • Monitoring and improving billing processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Driving process improvements across operational finance and championing automation where possible.
  • Collaborating with the CFO, accounts payable, and wider finance teams to align on strategic goals.
  • Ensuring timely cash collections, reducing debtor days, and mitigating credit risk.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients to provide exceptional service.
  • Producing detailed credit and cashflow reports to support business decision-making.
