Overview

Our client, a leading Service provider, headquartered conveniently in the beautiful Birmingham city centre has been growing steadily, expanding across the UK with their offering and solidifying its core business. As part of their plans to continue offering expert support to their clientele, they are bolstering their fantastic team with a part qualified Finance Business Partner

You'll join a focused commercial division within a larger accounts department, working closely with small, supportive team. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing the month-end management accounts, handling accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as taking ownership of budgets and forecasts. This role also offers the chance to collaborate directly with senior stakeholders, providing insightful variance analysis.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in preparing budgets and forecasts independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and communicate effectively with leaders across various departments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a keen understanding of systems to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • A self-motivated, ambitious individual eager to advance and grow within the company.
