  • Oversee management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, statutory accounting, and regulatory returns for a values-led non-profit organization.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, advocating for financial best practices and upholding ethical standards.
  • Showcase an innovative approach by consistently questioning and improving financial standards while leading and inspiring a dedicated finance team.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a finance leader within the public, non-profit or training sectors. This is ideal for an ambitious Finance Manager/Controller ready for their first FD position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving financial innovation and implementing best practices, ultimately contributing to the long-term success of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully engaging and managing diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate regulatory requirements and compliance within the non-profit sector (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent.
