A fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing SME business based in Birmingham. A renowned reputation for its bespoke products and excellent customer service, this corporation are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play an integral part in driving the financial success and strategic growth of the business.

Begin your journey as the No. 2 reporting to a part time FD with the opportunity of progression within the first 12-24 months. An exciting role whereby you can put your own stamp on the business and have the autonomy to create your own finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Credit Control
• Preparation of management accounts
• Overseeing management and of monthly payrolls
• Overseeing management of debtors and creditors
• Reconciliations
• Petty Cash, Expenses, Accruals, Payments
• Financial support to wider team
• Month end procedures
• Management of team of three

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevantly qualified or qualified by experience (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong communicator and team player
• Extensive knowledge of working within an SME (manufacturing SME experience would be advantageous).
• IT literate/tech savvy with advance Excel skills
• Understanding of cash flow and available funds within an SME
