Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established but growing design company based in Birmingham city centre. They are looking for an experienced finance professional to join their finance function as a Finance Manager.
Duties and responsibilities of a Finance Manager in this role include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring Balance Sheet accounts are fully reconciled, including fixed assets, accruals and prepayments, to identify & correct material errors.
- Develop existing & new reporting in line with business needs, with a specific focus on project profitability.
- Prepare annual budget and monthly profit forecast.
- Monitoring cash flow forecast, incorporating any upcoming changes.
- Line management of junior finance team and payroll processing.
The successful candidate will:
- ACCA/CIMA finalist or qualified.
- Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
- Experience of month-end processes: balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals.
- Strong IT and excel skills (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables essential).
- Good communication skills and high level analytical skills.
