Our respected Property Management client, based in Birmingham City Centre, is seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join their dynamic, medium-sized finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role, immersing yourself in a variety of responsibilities. As well as acting as a key liaison for a small team under your guidance, you will lead a range of process improvement initiatives and oversee client reporting.

Reporting directly to a Director, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all property accounting is accurately and promptly managed for both yourself and your team. Strong communication skills will be essential as you build effective relationships with your team and clients, providing insightful feedback on reporting. Technically, you will be a proficient accountant, responsible for preparing comprehensive financial report packs, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, VAT reporting, and service charge budgeting and forecasting. If you enjoy analysing data and partnering to deliver commentary, this role will suit you perfectly.

Ideally, you will:

  • Be a part-qualified accountant studying towards ACCA/CIMA or possess equivalent qualifications through experience.
  • Have previous experience in the Property sector, particularly with rent and service charge accounting (preferred but not essential).
  • Have a background in supervising or managing a team, as you will conduct one-to-ones and provide support to a small team.

In return, you will:

  • Embark on a clear path for career progression, with enhanced benefits and competitive compensation.
  • Receive study support to complete your professional qualifications.
  • Benefit from hybrid working arrangements following a successful probation period.
  • Enjoy a rewarding role mentoring your team, driving client success, and spearheading impactful process improvements.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a progressive and growing organisation, with a role that offers both challenge and reward. If this sounds like the right fit for you, we encourage you to apply now!
