Overview

An established organisation in Birmingham City Centre has recently approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for a talented and experienced Finance Manager. The organisation has consistently grown and has shown a sustained level of expansion despite external shocks such as the pandemic. They have recently expanded their finance function and are hoping to bring in an ambitious candidate who can come and work directly with the Finance Director. This role has been created as a result of growth and the offices are easily accessible due to their close proximity to public transport hubs such a New Street and Moor Street Stations. They provide a flexible hybrid working style alongside a generous study support package and employer pension contribution.

As a Finance Manager, you will be working closely with Senior Management as a fundamental component of financial meetings, discussing the financial health of the organisation. You'll have line management oversight for a small team and will working with a variety of like-minded senior colleagues. The organisation are seeking to bring on a talented individual with an impressive experience of system or process improvements.

Skills Required
  • To be confident and charismatic, as in this role you will be included and involved in senior financial meetings with the Directors, who will be keen on hearing your insights and commentary.
  • To have an excellent attention to detail, as in this role you will be working with large data sets and producing reports.
  • To be currently studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have completed a number of these examinations in your chosen discipline, or to consider yourself "Qualified by Experience"
  • To be confident when using Microsoft Excel, and to have a number of years working in a senior finance position.
