FP&A Manager

Location: Midlands (home based with some travel required)

Salary: £65K to £75K dependant on experience

T2M Resourcing are exclusively recruiting this newly created FP&A Manager role for a fast-growing international manufacturing company. Our US head quartered / private equity backed client has an urgent requirement for a qualified accountant with proven FP&A and Finance Business Partnering experience.

Reporting to the Global Head of FP&A (who is UK based) you will support a broad range of stakeholders at local and HQ exec level with operations in the UK and Europe. The role can be largely 'home based’ but will require travel in the UK and some international locations on a periodic basis. As part of a US owned entity, there will also be a requirement to be available during US working hours at key times.

Your remit will be interesting, varied and challenging working within a small FP&A team and will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Supporting local entity Financial Controllers and management teams with the provision of highly quality financial analysis and business insight on profit centre performance - including sales, productivity, margins and cashflow
  • Supporting the business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing and service centre operations (combined turnover of c.$60m)
  • Production of consolidated rolling 13 week cashflow forecasts and reports for the banks, P/E firm and exec teams
  • OPEX reporting to the group CFO
  • Preparation of board reporting packs
  • Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required

To be successful in this FP&A Manager role we seek candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Qualified accountant ( CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with experience of working in a multi-site international business
  • Proven FP&A and / or Business Partnering skills
  • Great financial analysis and modelling skills - able to provide high quality data and business insight in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills - able to support senior level finance and non-finance staff
  • Able to work on your own initiative but also team focused
  • A flexible / agile approach - happy to work to deadlines and be available for meetings outside of normal working ours as required ( as part of a US owned entity)
