Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis ManagerLocation: Birmingham, UKAbout the Role:Morgan Hunt is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager on behalf of a national claims and loss adjustment business based in Birmingham. This key role will be instrumental in providing critical financial insights and driving strategic decision-making across the business.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
- Prepare insightful presentations and reports for senior management, including Board of Directors presentations.
- Support business development initiatives by providing financial analysis and modelling for new opportunities.
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the Finance department, including automation and streamlining of processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Operations, and IT, to understand business needs and provide financial support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ACA Qualified accountant or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent financial modelling and analysis skills, with proficiency of using Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
