Financial Reporting Manager

I am currently partnering with a services business who are looking to recruit a candidate for a Financial Reporting Manager post within the team. The role is really varied focusing on year end, month end group management accounts and group budgeting for the business.

You will be in charge of the statutory reporting for UK. Alongside you will manage a part qualified team of two and report into a Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance within a great environment.

• Have knowledge / understanding of latest accounting standards, balanced with some key management accounts and budgeting skills.
• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA candidate) with a confident communication style, preferably having had exposure to dealing with senior managers in a fast paced function. The ideal candidate would have a varied background.
• Have demonstrable organisation skills, allowing you to easily balance concurrent projects and a busy workload, effectively prioritising duties for the benefit of the business.
• Be a self-starter with tangible initiative - the role will need a proactive person who can initiate and manage their own priorities / workload in order to be successful along with delegate to your team.
