Churchill Howard is working in partnership with a commercial organisation based in Birmingham, seeking to recruit an outstanding Financial Reporting Manager to form a key part of their finance team. The individual must be technically strong, have the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels, and be capable of managing a team. There are clear pathways to career progression, and you will be supported by a talented and knowledgeable leadership team. The role:* Responsible for preparing and submitting monthly financial reports for the UK&I business.* Oversee the management of fixed assets and ensure compliance with IFRS.* Assist in creating consolidated (P&L) and balance sheet budgets and forecasts.* Co-ordinate intercompany transactions and communication among various stakeholders within the group.* Engage with key stakeholders as needed to provide financial updates and insights.* Continuously review existing processes to enhance efficiency.* Analyse and interpret large datasets from diverse sources, adapting to different formats.* Manage part-qualified accountants, particularly in balance sheet reporting.* Act as a primary liaison between the business and external auditors.* Prepare specialised reports and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.* Keep up to date on international accounting standards (IAS) to ensure accurate financial reporting across key statements.The individual:* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)* High numeric and analytical skills* Strong knowledge of IFRS* Proficient in Excel and experience of working with a consolidation system* Positive attitude towards colleagues* Strong communication skills, extremely diligent and self-motivated in natureThe organisation has an outstanding reputation for looking after and developing its people and their careers whilst recognising the importance of work life balance.
