The Role

As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will provide insight and support to drive strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Managing month-end close processes and delivering timely financial reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP).
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Developing and mentoring a high-performing finance team.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a solid track record in financial reporting.
  • Have strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can drive change and deliver results.
  • Degree in accountancy, economics, business or a related field.

Experience in a similar role within a large or complex organisation is highly desirable, as is prior exposure to team management.
