Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be exclusively partnering with this client in search for a Head of Finance. We are seeking an exceptional Head of Finance to join a dynamic team based in Birmingham City Centre.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Finance you will be responsible for the following:

  • Cost Management: Lead initiatives to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the organisation. Develop and execute strategies to optimise expenditure and enhance financial efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee and refine the financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Implement best practices for reporting and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Partner with senior leadership to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Team Development: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

As Head of Finance you will be required to have the following experience:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a degree in accountancy, economics or related field etc.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role with a strong track record in cost management and financial process improvement.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading cross-functional projects and driving organisational change.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Advanced analytical skills and a strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail.
