A Luxury Manufacturing company in Birmingham is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Finance Administrator with a great head for numbers and keen interest in providing key business critical support across the finance department. The role will be a permanent position, part time role 20 hours per week . You will be reporting to The Finance/HR Manager. The successful candidate will have experience of providing a finance focused administrative support function. The ideal candidate will have experience of using an accounting package, you may have worked in accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control or in general finance.
Finance Administrator key responsibilities
Finance Administration duties
Answering Finance line
Invoicing administration coding invoices correctly SAP system
Processing invoices, ensuring details are correct
Managing invoices throughout the month
Checking Supplier statements for discrepancies
Taking incoming payments using virtual terminal
Posting incoming payments
Send monthly statements at month end with first chase letter
Skills & Experience
Experience of providing finance administrative services
Knowledge of accounting software
Basic IT Sills
Excel skills
Able to demonstrate a very strong eye for detail
Ability to plan and organise workload
