JGA are excited to be working with a dynamic organisation looking to add a Payroll Executive to its team.
  
Responsibilities include:
  • Process all aspects of payroll with precision, including BACS operations when required.
  • Assist senior colleagues in verifying payroll calculations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients (both internal and external).
  • Handle new employee onboarding and departures seamlessly.
  • Manage pension, sick pay, and holiday pay processing.
  • Ensure all statutory deductions are made according to regulations.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc tasks, client inquiries, and questions from colleagues and HMRC.
  • Assist the Payroll Bureau Manager in meeting all client and statutory deadlines, ensuring all processes and procedures are up-to-date.
  • Be prepared to tackle additional payroll duties as needed.
  
Skills & experience required:
  • Possess experience in end-to-end payroll preparation.
  • Have a proven track record of handling high-volume payrolls or payroll bureau operations, including weekly processing.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of statutory deductions like pensions and auto-enrolment.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and excel at interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Navigate Excel confidently, running and reconciling reports, and importing CSV data files.
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
