Castlefield Recruitment is seeking a Rent and Service Charge Finance Officer for a not-for-profit organization in the West Midlands.
The position is interim for 6 months or longer and offers a competitive daily rate of £150 - £200 (umbrella).
The role involves maintaining service charge income, resolving related queries, and supporting budget meetings.
Candidates must be AAT qualified or working towards an AAT qualification, with strong experience in rent and service charges.

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Not-for-profit organisation in the West Midlands who are looking to recruit a Rent and Service charge Officer to their team on a interim basis to support them in this busy period. The role offers a competitive day rate, hybrid and flexible working.

Duties:

Responsible for maintaining service charge income and resolving queries related to rent and service charge from customers and business partners
Liaising with the wider business to support with service charge review, such as the housing team and wider finance team
Support the Rent and Service charge accountant with the setting of rent and service charges
Support with budget meetings and related to rents and service charges

Experience:

Must be working towards an AAT qualification or is AAT qualified
Strong Rent and Service charge experience
Excellent excel skills and IT literate
Knowledge of service charge legislation
