Job Purpose
  • Assisting in the management and delivery of a broad range of tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Preparation and reviewing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies
  • Supporting senior managers with the development and implementation of tax strategies
  • Managing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, supporting their professional growth and development
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience in a similar tax role
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and experience in tax advisory and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Proven experience in managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality tax services
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is desirable
  • Self-motivated and highly organised, with a keen eye for detail
  • Commercial business acumen
