We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual to join the Large Clients team as a Tax Assistant Manager or Tax Manager. In this role, you'll work closely with a visionary Tax Partner who is dedicated to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of tax professionals.

Role Overview:The Tax Assistant Manager or Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering comprehensive tax services to the firm's esteemed clientele. This position is ideal for someone who is not only technically proficient in tax accounting but also eager to advance their career in a supportive and challenging environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory functions while contributing to the success of the firm's clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of large clients, providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax legislation.
  • Advise clients on a range of tax-related issues, offering strategic solutions to optimise their tax positions.
  • Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and industry trends to provide informed guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective tax strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional services and cross-selling.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA Qualified, or ATT/CTA certified.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical tax accounting, with a strong track record in both compliance and advisory roles.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated, with a desire to progress and take on new challenges.
